Passengers: Michael & Julie Staten, Eric & Vanessa Brenner

Today we have 2 couples, one local and the “Anniversary” couple from up north. I call for the “middle of the road” site in Keizer as the forecast is for a light breeze out of the north. I think that we need to move the meeting time as it is dark at the pull out. We get the balloon pumped up and it is time to call for the passengers to board. We are off the park with the track as forecasted and a beautiful sunrise to greet us too. We had a drift to the east at the start of the track, not in the forecast but I can make it work for us at the end of the hour. I go a bit higher and find a push to the west and south so the track pulls more toward the Capitol Mall and we will have a look at the “Goldman” today. While down low I get pushed to the south a bit more and will be in the industrial area again at landing time. The track to the south holds and I have a shot at Jerry Walling’s new building off McGilcrest, Salmon Run. I set up the shot as the gang move into the open lot for the catch. We are in a rough field so the gang tows us over to the brand new (& clean) loading dock area of the building for the lay down and start the pack up. We get the balloon in the bag and the “sit” is done. We all load up and head back to Keizer for the picnic.
I get the story started, the toast is done and the certificates are presented.

Michael & Julie: “Wonderful ride and beautiful sunrise. Thanks to the whole crew!”
Eric & Vanessa “Thanks for a wonderful day to help us celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary!”

A BIG thank you to today’s Crew (I can’t get in the air or back on the ground without’um)
