Passengers: Brooke, Marlys & Dan Fisher

I call for the Keizer launch site for today but after the pi-ball release I move us to West Salem as the winds have shifted overnight. We get the balloon out, start the pump up then the heat is added and I call for the passengers to come on board. I get us off the ground and we drift to the east-northeast toward the river. We get there and I slip us between the tree line and get a dip in the river. It is up over the tree line and over Keizer for a bit then we hook back to the south over Capitol Chev. and I think we can hit the Deaf School again for the third flight in a row. We make the field but on the north end toady and the gang get the balloon deflated and ready to pack. The passengers get the bag sit done and we are headed back to the park for the picnic.
I get the story started, the toast is done and the certificates are presented.

PASSENGER COMMENTS:
Marlys: “Thank you. This was an awesome flight today! Very nice and enjoyed it very much.”
Brooke: “This was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. It was really amazing. Thank you!”
Dan: “Loved the dip in the river and using the trees for a brake! Awesome ride!”

A BIG thank you to today’s Crew (I can’t get in the air or back on the ground without’um)
Cecil, Molly, Lance, Brett, Tom, Beth
