Today the winds have shifted back to the normal (out of the north) so we are out in Brooks. I got a call from Jason the other day and he wanted to come and “play” with us today and will bring his buddy Jim along to. It is always fun to have these “powered parachutes” buzzing around us and we get some GREAT aerial shots as a bonus. We “all” get to work setting up the gear and it takes us a bit longer that the “power” boys as they just roll out and hook up. I get the passengers on board and we are off on our way as the power boys get warmed up too. We travel right down the runway toward the ponds as the PP’s head out for the chase. We cross over the edge of the pond and I drop us down for a “dip”. It is up over the trees and toward the south for some farm land shots then it’s on toward the edge of Keizer. We wake up some doggies and I spot the LZ for today, it will be a school. The “gang” is on the spot for the catch and after a BAD bag drop and a tree “Bash” we are on the parking lot for the take down. The passengers get the “sit” done in fine fashion and we head back to Finney for the picnic.
I get the story started, the toast is done and the certificates are presented.
PASSENGER COMMENTS: Debi: “Great experience!!” Stephanie: “Amazing, Beautiful, Survived!” John: “Defiantly a lot of fun”.
A BIG thank you to today’s Crew (I can’t get in the air or back on the ground without’um)
