Passengers: Alan Murray, Aniketa “Nick” Punyani, Katie & Paul Crowe

We are on the first of a 3 day run and I pick the Brooks site as the winds are out of the north again with a beautiful sunrise tossed in. The gang gets the balloon pumped up, I add some heat and we are standing and ready to load the passengers. We are off the tarmac drifting toward the ponds and we are slow enough for a dip in the water as we pass by. I get a bit of a drift to the east so we will get a look at Schrieners Iris operation then cross over I-5 and I look for a LZ. One of my favorites, J.B. Sod is out today as they have the water running over the whole area. I pick the next field downwind, not as pretty as the sod field, but much drier. We get the balloon deflated and ready to pack, the bag sit is done and we load up and head back to Finney Lake for the picnic.
I get the story started, the toast is done and the certificates are presented.

PASSENGER COMMENTS:
Alan: “Wow what a beautiful great ride! Thanks for a super morning.”
Paul: “Life is good and your ride is proof of that.”
Katie: “ A good addition to my ‘bucket list’ thanks to Tim. Lovely morning & beautiful views, loved the dip in the h2o and flying with the swallows.”

A BIG thank you to today’s Crew (I can’t get in the air or back on the ground without’um)
Beth, Mackenzie, Mike, Jo Ann & punk
