Passengers: Paul & Tony Gaylord, Frank Shaffer
On day 2 we are again back at the Brooks site and Jason our favorite Powered Parachute pilot shows up to get in some flying too. While Jason gets hooked up we get pumped up and soon are standing and I call for the passengers to get on board. With a little heat we are off the tarmac and join Jason in the air. As we drift oven the hops to the south Jason lifts off the runway and will “play” with us for the first part of the flight. We cross over a field on the way to the ponds then Jason radios that he is going to head toward the river for a while and will look us up later. We pass over Knife Rivers gravel operation then drift on toward Brooklake Road. Our track today is almost the same as yesterday so we will again cross I-5 and head toward J.B. Sod. As I set the shot for the landing on a cleaned grass field, Jason shows up to say hello again. He does a “touch & go” for us then I land and we start the pack up. We load up and say goodbye to Jason as we head back for the picnic.
I get the story started, the toast is done and the certificates are presented.
PASSENGER COMMENTS: Frank “I haven’t had this much fun since the hogs ate my little sister. Great Trip!” Tony: “One of the best experiences in my life! I look forward to my next flight!
A BIG thank you to today’s Crew (I can’t get in the air or back on the ground without’um)
