Passengers: David Campbell, Tanya Stanley
We are again back in Brooks and have another “surprise” birthday flight, today it’s Tanya’s 25th. We get the balloon hooked up, start the pump up and when full its time to have the passengers come on board. After the briefing we are off the tarmac and head toward the pond at Knife River. We catch the dredge “driver” heading out to work on the “digger” as we slowly drift overhead. We cross into the tree farm and spot the “gang” on the road as we head into Keizer. We cruse along for a bit and soon I spot our LZ (landing zone) for today the “two million dollar” field as we call it (that is the retail price on this land) and the gang move to the field for the catch. We get the balloon tagged up and the passengers do the “sit” then we head back for the picnic.
I get the story started, the toast is done and the certificates are presented.
PASSENGER COMMENTS: Tanya: “Thank you for a wonderful experience, made my 25th…a Birthday to remember!”
A BIG thank you to today’s Crew (I can’t get in the air or back on the ground without’um)
