Passengers: Ed & Alexis Ferdig, Danielle Baca, John Chayse

I call for Brooks again today and we have 2 groups, Ed and his granddaughter (her graduation present) and John with Danielle (her Birthday). The “gang’ gets the top in and I get the fan started as Cecil gets the passengers signed in. We get “Starship” standing and I call for the passengers to join me in the basket and we off the tarmac as the “Adventure” begins. It’s really clear today and we have a great view of Mt. Hood and even Mt. Jefferson hiding behind the Cascades. We track east briefly then hook south toward the lake and some “wet” feet in a little bit. I set the shot for the “splash & Desch” and the gang on the bank gets a great series of the event, which included a complete 360* circle then the pull out at the end. It’s up over the trees and toward Keizer as we drift slowly into town I have a shot at yesterdays LZ, the school but get shoved off at the last minute. The gang hits the road to the next one, Emerald Point retirement complex which we have permission for but not used as yet. I drop to set the shot for the field behind and get shoved to the west this time. I just hate to give up on a good LZ so the gang moves around the building to the drive way as we slowly drift over the building to the south side. I get a line to them and the start the tow 1 block east the 2 more to the north for the take down. We get the heat out and back in the bag, the “sit” is done. We load up and head back for the picnic.
I get the story started, the toast is done and the certificates are presented.

A BIG thank you to today’s Crew (I can’t get in the air or back on the ground without’um)
