Passengers: Phil, Linda Noble, Linda Lindsay, Bradley & Corey Noble
We have been down a few days and we are back in Brooks again today for a Birthday flight. We get the balloon out and pump the air in as the passengers, all five watching and when the balloon is full we add the heat and I call for them to join me in the basket. We are off the field and the adventure has begun for today. We are greeted bay a fantastic sunrise as we drift off to the south at an easy pace. The passengers start to “settle in” and are enjoying the flight even the youngsters are doing very well as we cross Brooklake and slowly drift into Keizer. We are at the end of the hour and I set the first landing shot at Whitaker School but get a sharp push to the east and miss this one. The next shot is Claggett Creek park and again we get shoved off to the east and the boys have to run back to the van for the next shot which will be Weddle School. As I drop for the shot the east push has gone away and we miss this one to the west. Next up is the grassy area off of Mainline Drive by the Parkway. We slip over the trees, I get some leaves and we are all safely back on the ground. The boys get us tagged and the passengers do the sit and we are on our way back for the picnic.
I get the story started, the toast is done and the certificates are presented.
PASSENGER COMMENTS: Linda: I had a wonderful flight, thanks for a wonderful birthday present!” Linda Lindsay: “I had a wonderful time, thank you!”
