Passengers: Maria & Doug Hannan, Katharine Popenuk, Colleen Peterson
Again we are back in the Brooks area with another full load. We get the balloon out and filled with air, I call for the passengers to board and we are off the field as the gang loads up for the chase. I get a shove to the west toward the ponds as the passengers are getting “adjusted” to the flight and decide to get higher to find more south push. As like yesterday I find the track I want above a thousand feet and we will remain high today for most of the flight. At the end of the hour we drop back down to hunt down our LZ (landing zone). I have a shot at the medical center lot but get shoved to the west toward the lake. Once over the trees I get a line down and the gang pulls us down on the street. We will use the pavement for the lay down and pack-up. We toss the boys in the basket for the ride back and hit the road.
I get the story started, the toast is done and the certificates are presented.
PASSENGER COMMENTS: Maria & Doug: “Thank you so much Jim & crew! This is one item on our ‘bucket list’ now checked off, you guys are amazing!!” Katharine: “We love it! Thanks for a perfect landing….Aloha!” Colleen: “Love, love, loved it, thanks!”
A BIG thank you to today’s Crew (I can’t get in the air or back on the ground without’um)
