Passengers: Maureen & Rose Gallagher, Nestor & Pam Aujero
Day three at the Brooks site for another full load and a beautiful sunrise to greet us. We get the balloon out and start the pump-up, Cecil goes in and cleans up from the “gremlins”, we are up and off the field and the adventure has begun. We get a shove to the west toward the ponds as the passengers start to settle into the flight. The drift to the west is holding and I’ll need to find and “adjustment” to the east or miss some good LZ’s. I drop low over the golf course and find a sharp turn to the east and will call for the million $ lot for the parking spot today. The gang is there for the catch, we get the balloon deflated and ready for the bag. The passengers get the “sit” done and we head back for the picnic.
I get the story started, the toast is done and the certificates are presented.
PASSENGER COMMENTS: Maureen: “Amazing adventure, thank you!” Rose: “Finally after three tries we make it on the fourth. This was worth the wait, great! Thank you.” Nestor: “Will do it again and often!” Rose: “Great trip, mark this off the bucket list!”
A BIG thank you to today’s Crew (I can’t get in the air or back on the ground without’um)
Cecil, Isaac, Brandon, Colby
