Passengers: Larry Gebert, Adam Worthington
This is day 1 for us in Boise (day 2 for the event) and again we have Channel 7 on air personalities to fly. The event Director gave us Bonnie Shelton (& camera person) last year and this year we have the “Weather” dude (Larry Gebert) to do LIVE broadcasts of the show & local weather…from the air, every few minutes during the flight. We get the OK form Scotty to get the balloons out and pumped up for the launch command. We are up and I call for the passengers to get on board and we are off the park. We drift off at an easy pace as Larry does several weather reports. We drift out Federal Blvd. and a couple of balloons take a shot at a field as we pass over then it’s time for me to find a spot. I spot a “rough” field next to the Post Office and will take the shot. The gang catches us and we deflate the balloon, tag it up and get it in the bag.
I get the story started, the toast is done and the certificates are presented.
A BIG thank you to today’s Crew (I can’t get in the air or back on the ground without’um)
Cecil, Tim, (local Boise boots) Joe, Cindy
