September 27, 2014 (b-v) Passengers: Rudolfo Munoz & Sofia Ortiz We have been down for a couple of days but have a Private flight this morning so Rudolfo can “pop” the question to Sofia, which will be a surprise to her. I have called for the Brooks site and the gang gets to work on the balloon, when it’s full of cold air Cecil adds the heat for us. The passengers join us in the basket and we are off the field drifting to the southeast at an easy pace. We drift pass Powerland and the field that we will be using for our balloon event in a year from this weekend. Our passengers are really enjoying the flight as we drift over the corn maze on the edge of Keizer. Rodolfo picks his time to make his move and over the Parkway he gets his YES he was hoping for. The hour is up and the gang have staged at the old Houck gravel pit for the catch. The boys tow us to the road for the take down and the “couple” waits for the sit We load up and head back to the school for the picnic. I get the story started, the toast is done and the certificates are presented. PASSENGER COMMENTS: Sofia & Rudolfo: “Thank you so much for everything, this was a surprise for me.
