September 28, 2014 Passengers: Kristi Skoog, Ilsa Frazer, Tove Frazer, Kellen Frazer, Kirsten Frazer Again we are back in Brooks and today we have a FULL load with our birthday gal, Tove. This is a family celebration of grandmother’s birthday and a gathering of all the “K’s” as I call it. We definitely have a hint of fall in the air as the gang gets that balloon out and ready for flight, as the passengers watch it all happen. Cecil will get us up and standing today and then we call for the passengers to join us. We are off the field and the “adventure” has begun as we catch the slow breeze to the southwest. I stay low for a bit so the passengers can get there orientation going but low we have too much west push so I go looking for some more south to straighten us out. Higher I do find some south but not enough so I slip back downand into the “bottoms” to take the edge off our 18 MPH speed up top. We slip into Mc Nary estates and cruse the golf course and I get the speed back to what I’m comfortable with. The gang has the “glimpse” in operation so when I call for the school as the LZ they are already on site as we pop up over the trees. We get the balloon deflated, the birthday gal comfortable and the sit is done. Now it’s time to load up and head back for the picnic.
