Passengers: Shirelle Nuuanu, Carissa Jones, Ben Ark, Suzanne Smith
We have a full load this morning and Mother Nature is trying to make up for all the “weather outs” (6 last month & 4so far this one) with a beautiful day to play. I toss out a pi-ball (test balloon) and it looks like this site will do so the GANG gets the balloon out and prepared for flight. Time to wake up the GIANT and get the passengers on board. Time to add the heat and get us on our way. I spot some ground fog in the “bottoms” but nothing on our track to the south with a slight push west. We cross over the tree farm and say hello to some men packing up trees for market. We continue toward Keizer at an easy pace with the passengers taking it all in. As we drift into the Meadows we spot the gang on the ground waiting for us to catch up. The hour is winding down and I nave a great track to Keizer Elementary and as I set the shot the “notch” wind off the Eola Hill catches us and we hook to the south off the west track. Now we head over the lake at Inland Shores and get a great “reflection” shot an the way to McNary High and our LZ for today. We slip into the practice baseball field and the gang make the catch for us. The grass is very wet so we move to the track at the football field track for the lay down and pack up. We get the balloon back in the bag and head back for the picnic.
I get the toastdone and the certificates are presented.
PASSENGER COMMENTS: Suzanne: “Absolutely amazing, thank you!!!” Ben: “Fantastic, thank you!!” Carissa: “It was amazing thank you so much!” Shirelle: “ Amazing ride! I will definitely recommend it to friends and family. The breakfast at the end was also amazing because of Jim’s story telling! Thank you.”
A BIG thank you to today’s Crew (I can’t get in the air or back on the ground without’um)
