Passengers: Sheri O’Neil, Lindsay Austin, Patti Austin, Dennis Frost

Back again to KRP in Keizer as we are again overcast with the push to the east. The pi-ball (test balloon) tell us that the track will be a bit more to the southeast, yesterday it was east mostly the a north hook at the end. The gang gets the balloon out and hooked up, we get the cold air pumped in as the passengers look on. I get some heat added and we are up and ready for the passengers to board. We are off the lot with the same push from yesterday. We are over the tree line and into west Salem then hook back over the river back into Keizer and will remain on this side of the river for the flight. We get a sharp hook to the west when I go higher (check the TRACK) to check winds and I have to find a lower track back to the east. We are back where we belong and heading toward the Parkway. We are drifting onto the Deaf School (the BIG W) for obvious reasons. I get a slight drift to the west again and miss the football field so I have the gang move to a classroom and will drop aline so the can pull me to the grass for the takedown. The passengers do the “sit” and we are ready to head back for the picnic.
I get the story started, the toast is done and the certificates are presented.
